NowYouKnow Travel Giveaway – Official Rules (India Only)

Sponsor: The giveaway ("Sweepstakes") is sponsored by JAPK Holdings Inc, 239 S Beverly Dr, Suite 200, Beverly Hills, CA 90212

1. Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of India (excluding users residing in Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Nagaland, and Andhra Pradesh) who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees of NowYouKnow, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) or household members are not eligible.

2. Agreement to Official Rules: Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.

3. Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins on 9th April, 2025 at 12:00pm IST and ends on 15th May, 2025 at 11:59pm IST (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Sweepstakes Period will not be eligible.

4. How to Enter: During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible participants must:

• Download the NowYouKnow app from the App Store or Google Play
  

• Create an account and add your first review
  

• Follow @nowyouknow_in on Instagram and ‘like’ the Giveaway post
  

• Tag two (2) or more friends in the comments of the Giveaway post
  

• Ensure you have notifications turned on
  
  

5. Bonus Entries / Increasing Odds of Winning: Entrants may increase their chances of winning by earning additional points (which translates into additional entries) based on activity during the Sweepstakes Period:

1 point per review posted (in order to count, a review must contain a star rating and one of the following: description, “good for” label, or photo):

• 1 point for a review with only a description

• 1 point for a review with only a “good for” label 

• 2 points for a review with a only a photo 

Bonus:

• 1 point for adding a “good for” label (if not already included)

• 1 point for adding a description (if not already included)

• 2 points for adding a photo (if not already included)

• 1 point per additional photo (beyond the first photo)

• 1 point for tagging a friend

• 1 point for sharing your review to instagram and tagging @nowyouknow_app

• 25% bonus on all the points your referrals earn throughout the contest period

Points will be translated into entries for the final draw (e.g., 1 point = 1 entry).

6. Limitations and Conditions: Each review must be authentic and original. Spam, repetitive content, or fake reviews/accounts will result in disqualification. Entrants are limited to one account and may not enter with multiple accounts.

7. Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive:

• Round-trip economy class airfare for two (2) from anywhere in India to Goa Dabolim Airport (GOI);
  

• A 3-day, 2-night stay for two (2) at Caravela Beach Resort, Goa;
  

• Three meals per day per person at the resort.
  
  

Total prize value: up to ₹50,000. The prize must be used within 5 months (June 1st 2025 to Oct 31st 2025) of the award date and booked at least 14 days in advance, subject to availability.

8. Prize Conditions: Prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No substitution will be made except as provided herein at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

9. Winner Selection and Notification: Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries, weighted by points earned. Drawing will occur within 2 week of the Sweepstakes Period end. Winner will be notified via email, Instagram DM, and NowYouKnow app notification. The winner must respond within 48 hours or an alternate winner may be chosen.

10. Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winner’s consent to Sponsor’s use of their name, likeness, review content, and city of residence for promotional purposes without further payment or consideration.

11. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Sweepstakes at its sole discretion. If the Sweepstakes is terminated, Sponsor may select a winner from among all eligible entries received prior to termination.

12. Disqualification: Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates the Official Rules.

14. Governing Law and Disputes: The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be instituted in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Mumbai, India. The Sweepstakes is void in Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Nagaland, and Andhra Pradesh and where otherwise prohibited.

16. Activation Threshold: This giveaway will only be activated and prizes awarded if a minimum of 1,000 eligible participants enter the giveaway during the designated entry period.
