Our Story

For Pia and Krishna, travel has always been about more than just ticking off places — it’s about seeing the world through the eyes of people you trust. Growing up, our best trips came from personal recommendations shared by our parents’ friends. Whether it was a hidden gem in Rome or a local favorite in Cape Town, we quickly learned that the best tips come from people who get you.

But once we started planning our own trips, things got messy. We’ll never forget a chaotic Barcelona trip where everyone showed up with random lists from friends-of-friends, trying to vote on where to go based on how often a place showed up. Not exactly foolproof. And don’t get us started on the “Paris recs pls” flood on Instagram — good luck keeping track of those!

That’s when we realized: why isn’t there a simple way to get travel recs from people you actually know and trust?

Taste is personal. Online reviews are hit or miss. Our favorite restaurant in Mumbai, Royal China, only has 4.1 stars — but to us, it’s easily a 5. Because our friends and family, those who truly 'get' us, share our love for it.
